Desktop & mobile apps

What the Mac, iPad, and iPhone apps do: capture, browse, highlight PDFs, and run meetings.

The native apps put your whole library on your devices, with a few things that only make sense natively: PDF highlighting, meeting recording, and calendar reminders. Sign in with the same account and everything syncs.

Mac

The Mac app is a full desktop client:

  • Sidebar library: Bookmarks, Notes, Files, Voice Notes, Meetings, Revisit, and Ask AI, plus your Collections and Tags.
  • Add bookmarks: a toolbar + or ⌘N opens the composer; ⌘⇧N starts a new note.
  • Bookmark detail: description, AI summary, tags, highlights, and media digest in a side pane.
  • PDF highlighting: open a PDF and highlight it in place; right-click selected text to save a highlight.
  • Meeting suite: see upcoming meetings, record them, get desktop reminders, and prep briefs.
  • Menu-bar mic: start a voice note without opening the main window.

iPad & iPhone

The mobile apps focus on capture and reading on the go:

  • Capture bookmarks, notes, files, and voice notes.
  • Browse collections and tags, with the same drill-in views as the desktop.
  • Highlight PDFs with the same colors and jump-to behavior as everywhere else.
  • Open Meetings, Revisit, and Ask AI from the menu.
  • Share-sheet save from other apps.

Organizing on native

Drag rows onto a collection in the sidebar, or right-click / long-press → Move to Collection, to file items. Multi-selected items move together. See Collections.

Note

Feature parity is close across platforms. A few things are web-only today (like the analytics screen and mind map) and a few are Mac-only (calendar reminders); see the in-app menus for what each platform currently offers.
