What is SortlyAI?
The memory layer for your knowledge work. Capture anything, let AI organize it, and ask your library questions.
SortlyAI is a place to keep everything worth remembering, and get it back when it matters. Instead of a folder of links you never revisit, it's an AI-organized library of the things you save, spread across every device you work on.
What you can save
SortlyAI treats five kinds of things as first-class items:
- Bookmarks: web pages, articles, videos, and podcasts.
- Notes: quick thoughts or long-form markdown, on their own or attached to a bookmark.
- Files: PDFs, documents, and images, with their text extracted so they're searchable.
- Voice notes & meetings: recordings that get transcribed and summarized.
- Highlights: the exact passages you cared about, from web pages and PDFs.
Everything lives in one library that you can browse by collection (like folders) or tag, and search across all at once.
What the AI does
Saving is only half of it. SortlyAI works in the background to make your library more useful:
- Organizes: suggests tags and summaries, and can auto-file a whole import into themed collections.
- Transcribes: turns YouTube videos, podcasts, and your own recordings into searchable transcripts, chapters, and summaries.
- Connects: surfaces related items you've already saved when you're on a page or prepping for a meeting.
- Answers: the unified Ask your library chat responds using your own saved content, with citations back to the source.
Where it runs
SortlyAI meets you where you work:
- Web dashboard at dashboard.sortlyai.app: the full library.
- Browser extension: one-click save and highlight from any page.
- Mac, iPad, and iPhone apps: capture, browse, record meetings, and highlight PDFs natively.
- MCP & API: connect your library to Claude, Cursor, and other AI tools (Pro and Premium).
