Free, Trial, Pro, and Premium: what each includes and how the AI quotas work.

SortlyAI has a free tier you can use forever, a trial of the paid features, and two paid plans. The difference is mostly the AI layer. Capture and organization are generous on every plan; transcription, enrichment, and library chat scale up as you pay.

The plans

  • Free: build a real library, save every item type, search it, and try the AI (a small monthly taste of chat and a couple of lifetime transcriptions).
  • Trial: 14 days of Pro features, once per account. No card needed, and nothing is charged when it ends: you go back to Free. It starts the first time you use an AI feature (an AI search, AI tags, or confirming an import), or from Settings. Your bookmark cap stays at 50 during the trial.
  • Pro: for regular use, with unlimited bookmarks, the AI features, meeting AI, link health, and MCP + API access.
  • Premium: everything in Pro with the highest quotas and bulk AI tools, for power users who lean on the AI daily.

Pricing and exact limits can change. The current numbers always live on the pricing page and in Settings. The figures below show how the quotas are shaped.

How the AI quotas work

Quotas are always in legible units (messages, minutes, items), never tokens.

Ask your library (chat messages):

  • Free: 5 / month
  • Trial: 25 / day
  • Pro: 100 / day
  • Premium: 300 / day

Media transcription (videos & podcasts):

  • Free: a couple of lifetime transcriptions
  • Trial / Pro: a monthly allowance
  • Premium: a larger monthly allowance

Storage (files, voice-note audio) and voice minutes are also metered by plan. You can see your usage any time in Settings.

Upgrading

Start a trial or upgrade from Settings → Subscription in the dashboard (billing is handled through Stripe). Your current plan and, on Free or the trial, how many of your 50 bookmarks you've used are always shown at the bottom of the sidebar. See Billing.
