Installing the apps

Get SortlyAI on your browser, Mac, iPad, and iPhone, and as an installable web app.

SortlyAI is one library reachable from several places. Install the ones that match how you work. They all sync to the same account.

Browser extension

The extension is the fastest way to save and highlight what you're reading.

1. Install it from the Chrome Web Store (Chrome, Edge, Brave, and other Chromium browsers).
2. Click the SortlyAI icon in the toolbar and sign in.
3. Pin the icon so one-click save is always visible.

Once signed in, you can save the current page, save a highlight from selected text, and see what your library already knows about a page you're visiting. Full details in Browser extension.

Mac, iPad, and iPhone apps

The native apps give you capture, browsing, PDF highlighting, and (on Mac) meeting recording with calendar reminders.

• Mac: a full desktop app with a sidebar library, bookmark composer, PDF highlighting, and the meeting suite.
• iPad & iPhone: capture on the go, record voice notes, browse collections and tags, and highlight PDFs.

Install the web app (PWA)

Prefer to stay in the browser? The dashboard is a Progressive Web App, so you can install it like a native app:

• Desktop (Chrome/Edge): open dashboard.sortlyai.app and use the install icon in the address bar.
• iPhone/iPad (Safari): tap Share → Add to Home Screen.

The installed app opens in its own window, works offline for browsing, and updates automatically.
