Quick start

From sign-up to your first answer in a few minutes: capture, organize, ask.

This is the shortest path to seeing what SortlyAI does. Four steps.

1. Create your account

Go to dashboard.sortlyai.app and sign up with Google or an email address. Your first AI action (an AI search, AI tags, or confirming an import) starts a free 14-day trial of Pro features, with no card needed.

A quick tour of the dashboard:

  • Sidebar: + New adds a bookmark, note, file, voice note or QR scan. Below it: Today (your daily queues), Library, Ask, and your collections. Your plan and your account menu (Settings, Docs, Log out) sit at the bottom.
  • The field at the top of the library: press Enter to search, or Ask to get an answer from your library.
  • Surfaced today: old saves that are due for another look.
  • Your library: grouped by when you saved things. Click any bookmark to see its details beside the list.

2. Capture something

There are lots of ways to get things into your library. Start with whichever is closest to hand:

  • Save a page with the browser extension: click the SortlyAI icon, or right-click and choose Save to SortlyAI.
  • Add a bookmark in the dashboard with + New → Add Bookmark.
  • Write a note from the Notes section.
  • Upload a file (PDF, doc, image) from the Files section.
  • Record a voice note from the Voice section.
  • Forward an email to your personal save-by-email address.

Tip

Don't worry about organizing yet. Capture first. SortlyAI suggests tags and summaries for you, and you can file things later.

3. Organize (or let AI do it)

Group related items into collections and give them tags. On paid plans, AI can tag an untagged batch and suggest collections automatically, which is handy right after an import.

4. Ask your library

Type a real question in the field at the top of the library and press Ask, for example "What did I save about pricing?" or "Summarize the meeting with the design team." The answer is built from your own saved content, with citations you can click to jump to the source.
