Settings

Language, privacy, notifications, usage meters, save-by-email, and account controls.

Settings is where you tune SortlyAI to your workflow. Most settings sync across your devices; a few are per-device.

Account

  • See which account you're signed in as, manage your subscription, and log out. In the web dashboard, Settings, Documentation and Log out are in the account menu at the bottom of the sidebar.
  • Open Manage account to reach billing and other dashboard-only controls.
  • Delete Account permanently erases your library, files and recordings and cancels any paid subscription. It can't be undone, so use Export everything first if you want a copy.

Language

Choose your app language and the language the AI writes in (summaries, chat, translations). SortlyAI's interface is available in English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, and Portuguese.

Usage & storage

See how much you've used against your plan: storage, voice minutes, and AI quotas. This is where to look if a feature says you've hit a limit. Your bookmark count against the Free or trial cap is also shown at the bottom of the sidebar. See Plans & pricing.

Save by email

Find and copy your personal save-by-email address, or regenerate it if it's been leaked.

Import & export

Bring your data in from other tools, or download everything with Export everything (free on every plan). See Importing your data.

Privacy & notifications

  • Control analytics and crash-report sharing.
  • Choose which emails you receive (like the weekly digest) and, on mobile, push preferences.

Per-device options

Some settings are specific to the device you're on, for example, Calendar reminders on the Mac, and swipe gestures on iPhone. These don't sync; set them on each device.

Note

Advanced, developer-facing controls (API keys, MCP setup, import/export) live in the dashboard. The native apps deep-link to them from Settings → Advanced.
