Link health & snapshots

SortlyAI watches your saved pages for dead links and changes, and can keep a snapshot of the content.

Saved links rot. Pages go offline, get paywalled, or change under you. SortlyAI monitors your bookmarks so your library stays trustworthy.

Link health Pro

On Pro and Premium, SortlyAI re-checks your saved pages in the background (each page at most about once a week) and flags:

  • Dead links: pages that no longer load.
  • Changed pages: content that's different from when you saved it.

These badges show up on bookmark cards and in a bookmark's detail pane, so you can spot and clean up rot at a glance. Click Page changed to open the snapshot history and see what changed. Your Analytics page summarizes overall link health.

Snapshots

On every plan, SortlyAI stores a snapshot of a page's text when you save it. That means:

  • You keep the content even if the original disappears or changes.
  • You can view the stored version and compare what changed since you saved it, with an AI summary of the difference.
  • You can capture a new snapshot on demand.

Snapshot history is available on the web dashboard (a bookmark's More → Page snapshots, or Page snapshots in its detail pane) and in the native apps (from a bookmark's actions).

Tip

Snapshots turn SortlyAI into a personal archive: highlight a passage in an article and, even if the article is later edited or taken down, your highlight and the snapshot keep the original wording.
